Dr. Jayashree Bulusu has been awarded the IUGG Early Career Scientist Awards 2023 for her outstanding research in Earth and space sciences and for her international research cooperation. The award will be presented during the Award Ceremony of the IUGG General Assembly to be held in 2023 at Berlin, Germany.

The Institute was honored with the Second Prize for Official Language Implementation during the 35th half-yearly meeting organized by NARAKAS, Navi Mumbai, at Belapur Bhavan on Thursday, July 14, 2022. Zeldovich Medal for COSPAR Scientific Commission D
Dr. Remya Bhanu is presented with the 2018 Zeldovich Medal for COSPAR Scientific Commission D. The Zeldovich Medals are given to young scientists who have demonstrated excellence and achievement in their field of research. They are conferred by COSPAR and the Russian Academy of Sciences to honor the memory of the distinguished astrophysicist Academician Yakov B. Zeldovich. She received the award on 15 July 2018 in the inaugural ceremony of the 42nd COSPAR Scientific Assembly at Pasadena, California, USA.
